What’s left to say about the Blues Band? 38 years on the road and still playing the finest Rhythm & Blues you’ll ever hear – and that’s a fact! Their New Vic visits always sell-out so make sure to book soon! In 1979, Paul Jones, Tom McGuinness, Dave Kelly, Rob Townsend and Gary Fletcher decided to form a band ‘just to play the blues’. 38 years on, they’re still packing out gigs and recording. But, having played with some of the great bands of the 60 and 70s – the likes of Manfred Mann, McGuinness Flint, Medicine Head and Family – I guess we shouldn’t be too surprised.
