Search is on for documentary contributors

Monday 18 April

Researchers at Keele University are calling for people involved in the Vic's groundbreaking documentaries to help with a new study.

The university is teaming up with the New Vic for the Ages and Stages project, looking at the role that the theatre has played in the lives of local people living and working in the Potteries during the last 40 years. As part of the three year project, researchers are interviewing local people who have been associated with the New Vic and the old Victoria Theatre over the last 50 years.

The team are currently hoping to track down people who were interviewed for one of the Vic's famous documentaries from the 1960s-1990s (e.g. Fight For Shelton Bar, Dirty Hill, Miner Dig the Coal).

If you were interviewed for one of the documentaries, and would like to take part in the research, please contact Michelle Rickett on 01782 733846, or e-mail m.c.rickett@ilcs.keele.ac.uk.
