A Grammy Award Winner in 2002 and 2009, voted Guitar Player Magazine's Best Country Guitar Picker a record five times, the legendary Albert Lee is, quite simply, one of the all-time great guitar players.
Albert has been a member of Chris Farlowe's Thunderbirds, Country Fever, Head Hands and Feet, Eric Clapton's band, Emmylou Harris's Hotband and The Crickets. He toured for many years with The Everly Brothers and, when not on the road with Hogan's Heroes, he plays with Bill Wyman's Rhythm Kings.
He was amongst other world-class performers who appeared at the Royal Albert Hall in the Concert for George tribute to George Harrison. In 2007 he joined Eric Clapton at The Crossroads Guitar Festival in Chicago and fronted with Bill Wyman's Rhythm Kings when they supported Led Zeppelin at their reunion concert in London. Albert's band Hogan's Heroes comprises some of the best known and most respected Rock'n'Roll and Country musicians in Great Britain.
