Helping young people visit the New Vic

For more than ten years, in a unique scheme, children under 16 have been able to visit the New Vic for free. It’s meant that families have been able to socialise together for a reasonable price, and that youngsters can develop the theatre-going habit – a very good thing!

For the last two years, the Arts Council England-funded scheme, A Night Less Ordinary, meant we could offer free tickets to under 26s. The scheme’s ended but, it’s been such a fantastic success with thousands of new, young faces in the theatre, we’ve decided to make our own arrangements. Enjoy!

Under 26s Go Free!

We’ve got 50 free tickets to give away for every New Vic production to people under 26.

They’re available on a first come first served basis. So make sure to book soon!

But, don’t worry, when they’ve all gone, you can still get a ticket for just £7.50.

Under 26 Go Free tickets available for Monday – Friday performances only; maximum of two free tickets per transaction and maximum of two free tickets per person during the Summer Season (1 March – 31 July); not available to book online; additional tickets available for under 26s for just £7.50 each; proof of status will be required; booker's email address will be required as a condition of booking; one Under 16s Go Free ticket per paying adult (New Vic productions only); Under 16 Go Free tickets valid for any performance.
