“A riotous night of theatre!”

Alan Ayckbourn’s Karaoke Theatre Company

Friday 14 October–Saturday 29 October 2016

The Stephen Joseph Theatre, Scarborough presents

Live theatre at its very, very best with a strong emphasis on the ‘live’! The inventive and versatile Karaoke Theatre Company with a slick, fast moving concoction of farce, comedy, drama and melodrama, all topped off with a dash of good, old fashioned stage magic.

Enjoy four short plays: The Plumber, The Sister, Whodunnit?, and Horror Story. There’s a farce, a costume comedy, a subtitled ‘foreign’ drama, and a full-blown gothic horror. Not forgetting a truly magical finale.

And, true to their name, what actually happens during the performance is largely up to you, the audience. Whether up on stage as a part of the action, or creating sound effects from your seat, there’s plenty of opportunities to be a part of the show!
