Appetite presents Roundabout: Stoke Slam!

Sunday 22 October 2017

Appetite in Association with Roundhouse Presents…

All Roundabout performances take place in Paines Plough’s pop-up, plug-and-play theatre outside the recently built No.1 Smithfield, City Centre, Hanley.

Stokie poets put down their pens and go head-to-head in a battle to be crowned Stoke-on-Trent’s Poetry Slam Champion.

Join us in Roundabout for an evening of remarkable rhymes, excellent entertainment and word-based war!

Twenty poets from across the region have been working with acclaimed spoken word performer Matt Abbott and local poet Gabriella Gay in a series of workshops to develop their writing and performance skills. Watch as they come together live on the Roundabout stage to put their wordsmithery to the test in Stoke Slam!

Who will be crowned victor? Join us to find out.

Performance begins at 7.00pm

This is a Donate What You Decide event.
Book in advance for free and then make a donation (however much you decide) at the event.
