Hannah Edwards returns for Tale Trail

14th December 2015

Hannah Edwards is back at the New Vic to take the littlest theatre-goers on a story-time adventure in Tale trail to Robin Hood & Marian.

New Vic favourite Hannah, who appeared in The Hundred and One Dalmatians, A Christmas Carol and Alice in Wonderland, joins Jamie Robertson (The Bone Mystery, New Vic Hoard Festival) in the spectacular interactive story-time which runs until Thursday 24 December.

Tale Trail to Robin Hood & Marian will give young children the chance to jump into the classic Midlands’ tale in a magical introduction to the world of theatre.

Designed by the same creative team behind the New Vic’s main-house show, Robin Hood & Marian, Tale Trail will see characters from the story brought to life, with children joining Hannah and Jamie to prepare for the wedding of Robin Hood and Marian, journey into the forest, build dens and confront Prince John.

Developed by the New Vic’s Education department, Tale Trail aims to encourage parents and carers to share stories with children.

Sarah Richardson, New Vic Education Practitioner, said: “With Tale Trail we aim to create a unique and magical theatrical experience that children and their families and carers can enjoy together.

“We’re really looking forward to welcoming families into this year’s Tale Trail adventure.”

Tale Trail to Robin Hood & Marian performances last 45 minutes and are suitable for children aged three to five-years-old along with their parents and carers.
