The New Vic is delighted to announce that four additional shows have been added to this year’s exciting autumn programme providing the very best in exhilarating dance, music and comedy.
For one night only, step back in time to the swinging 1920s as we visit Harlem’s hottest night spot, The Cotton Club! On Monday 29 September, The Lindy Hop Dance Companyand The Harry Strutters Hot Rhythm Orchestra present Swinging at The Cotton Club– a celebration of the breathtaking dance and music of the legendary nightclub.Brush off your dancing shoes and get ready to be transported back to the glamorous era of Speakeasies, Flappers, and syncopated rhythms!
On Saturday 1 November, the magic of Gerry Rafferty’s musical legacy is brought to the New Vic stage with Right Down The Line: The Gerry Rafferty Songbook. In this emotive and evocative live concert celebration, Rafferty’s timeless classics including Stuck in The Middle with You and Baker Street, will immerse the audience into the world of one of music’s greatest storytellers.
Later in the month on Wednesday 19 November, a special 60th anniversary tourof the classic radio comedy show Round The Horne takes to the New Vic stage. Complete with live music, sound-effects and the quirky humour for which the show is so well renowned, the Apollo Theatre Company will revive one of the most innovative and much-loved radio comedy shows of all time that is still so fondly remembered today.
Finally, the sensational Soul Brothers Syndicate return to the New Vic from Thursday 29 to Saturday 31 January 2026. Featuring Darrell Smith, Judith Ude and Grace Curran alongside their breathtaking 20-piece band, The Soul Brothers Syndicatebring their unique spirit and spontaneous humour to every concert as they perform a spectacular selection of Northern Soul favourites including The Drifter, The Night, I’m On My Way and many more.
