TWELVE NEW MUSICAL EVENTS JOIN THE NEW VIC’S 2026 AUTUMN PROGRAMME

Twelve new concerts have been added to the New Vic’s autumn line-up including performances by world renowned musicians The Manfreds and tributes to classic artists including The Beatles, Buddy Holly and Joni Mitchell.

The Ballad of John and Paul tells the unforgettable story of the greatest writing partnership in music history: Lennon and McCartney. With outstanding live musicians, and a set list including Blackbird, Help!, Let It Be, Imagine, Band On The Run and many more, the show will tell the real story of how and why those songs were written on Friday 25 September.

Celebrating John Coltrane’s A Love Supreme, Gary Crosby and Denys Baptiste lead an all-star quartet for the 60th anniversary of what is widely regarded as the greatest jazz album of all time on Tuesday 6 October.

Join the legendary Paul Jones and Tom McGuinness as The Manfreds take to the stage for their Get Your Kicks On Tour ’26featuring a thrilling two-hour performance packed with iconic hits, dynamic jazz, and powerful blues on Wednesday 18 November.

In festive tradition The Albion Christmas Band return to the New Vic on Monday 14 December with seasonal songs, carols, storytelling and stellar musicianship. The Froncysyllte Male Voice Choir return for their annual festive visit in an evening filled with winter magic on Saturday 19 December and The Pasadena Roof Orchestra invite us into the glamour of the Great Gatsby era with a unique concert celebrating the music of the Roaring Twenties and 1930s on Thursday 7 January 2027.

The Bluejays bring their energy and exuberance to the theatre on Thursday 21 January for a showcase of 50s and 60s classics from the likes of Elvis Presley, Chuck Berry and The Beatles before Darrell Smith & The Soul Brothers Syndicate return on Thursday 28 and Friday 29 January for two nights of breath-taking music featuring a 20-piece Northern Soul Orchestra playing less tribute and more homage to Northern Soul.

After two sell-out first visits, The Fleetwood Mac Experience return to the New Vic on Saturday 30 January with their tribute to one of the biggest bands in music history – playing all the greatest hits including DreamsGo Your Own WayDon’t StopEverywhereSay You Love MeYou Make Lovin’ FunRhiannonSaraBig Love and The Chain as well as a host of other well-known songs from the band’s best-selling albums.

To celebrate South Asian Heritage Month, Sensasian Festivalreturns. In partnership with Appetite, the New Vic presentAunusthan – A Celebration of Neo-Classical Indian Dance and Music on Thursday 11 February featuring a vibrant journey of rhythm and dance that captures the rich, multi-faceted nature of Kathak, the classical dance style of North India.

Completing the season’s musical line-up Buddy Holly & The Cricketers perform Buddy Holly’s greatest hits alongside classics by Elvis, Jerry Lee Lewis, Little Richard, Chuck Berry, The Everly Brothers and more, in a night filled with nostalgia, joy and unforgettable live music in The Rock n Roll Legends Show on Monday 15 February; and Hejira – A Celebration of Joni Mitchell sees seven highly experienced jazz musicians play tasteful renditions of classics such as AmeliaWoodstockA Case Of YouSong For Sharon and Edith And The Kingpin to honour Joni Mitchell’s greatest music on Monday 22 February.
