Jimmy is a working-class actor, writer, and Director from Warrington. In 2023, Jimmy received a UK Theatre award nomination for Best Director for A Midsummer Night’s Dream. 

Jimmy is the founder and artistic director of the award-winning Not Too Tame, which he formed in 2014 with a cohort of working-class artists. He is also an actor, writer, and director for the company. His work focuses on audiences, specifically creating work that engages and entertains the working classes, highlighting to audiences that theatre is for them, both as a form of entertainment and a potential career path.
