The End of The World In Slow Motion

Thursday 20 April 2017

A New Vic Youth Theatre production

By Rebekah Harrison
Directed by Kat Hughes

If the world began again, would we do anything differently?

When a group of young people find themselves in the extraordinary position of starting the world over, they plan to do it better this time. Starting out with fresh hope, they intend to create a happier, fairer society.

But being in charge isn’t always as easy as it looks. And if they can’t agree what’s fair between themselves, how will they be able to lead the new world? Will they learn from history? Or are they about to repeat it?

The evening starts at 7.30pm with two short “curtain raiser” pieces, an interval and then a performance of “The End of the World in Slow Motion” by Rebekah Harrison which has been specially written for the New Vic. The main show will last around 50 minutes and it is estimated to finish at around 9.15pm.

Suitable for ages 11+
