CIRCUS RETURNS TO THE POTTERIES CENTRE

The New Vic and award-winning circus company Upswing continued their annual programme of work fusing contemporary circus with theatre during the February half-term with a residency at the Potteries Centre in Hanley.

Upswing returned to the City Centre (Hanley) and delivered a week of free circus workshops, professional performances and drop-in sessions for young people and their families to enjoy.

From aerial balance to juggling to hula-hoop and ribbons, young participants were invited to explore their circus potential, test out various introductory circus skills and have a lot of fun!
