New Vic Borderlines start Christmas Preparations

18th November 2015

The New Vic Borderlines team are starting to gear up to an exciting season of goodwill and performances over the Christmas period.

We have been out in the rain collecting 20 trolleys kindly loaned to us by Goose Street Morrison’s and dropping them off to the community groups who are going to transform them into something beautiful; inspired by their favourite Christmas carol or song for the Newcastle Under Lyme Light Switch on Parade, which will be accompanied by the brilliant 1st Stoke-on-Trent & Newcastle St. Andrew’s Porthill Scout Group Drumming band. The parade will take place on the 29 November at 12pm.

Our Active Citizens have started their volunteer leadership programme with us at the New Vic. We are looking forward to the inspiring social actions, which will follow and bring positive change to their communities.

Over half term Young Peoples Theatre Company met, bringing new and old faces back together for a week of workshops to start devising their Christmas performance, which is looking like a Crime Catchers Robin Hood Special!
