As Associate Director at Nottingham Playhouse (2013–2018): Duties included programming the studio theatre, artist development and leading the Participation Department.

With Voluntary Service Overseas (VSO): Theatre for Development Specialist with Tokaut AIDS, a theatre company specializing in HIV and AIDS awareness work in remote communities in Papua New Guinea (2008-10).

Writer and producer of radio programmes in English for Radio Bana, the Eritrean Ministry of Education Radio Station (2007-08).

Grade Six English teacher in a village school in Eritrea (2006-07).

For Minority Rights Group International: Street Theatre challenging racist stereotypes in Rwanda (2011).
