The Unfriend

New Vic Production

By Steven Moffat
Directed by John Young

Be careful who you invite to stay…

When an innocent invitation made on holiday is suddenly accepted, Peter and Debbie find themselves preparing their spare room for a surprising new friend and wondering just what they’ve got themselves into.

Elsa is fun, brash, larger than life and, as it turns out… a suspected murderer!

When an internet search uncovers some sinister truths about their house guest, they face a dilemma: how do you ask someone to leave when you’re far too polite to be rude?

By Steven Moffat, the award-winning writer behind Sherlock, The Unfriend is a brilliantly dark, deliciously funny comedy thriller about the perils of politeness and what happens when being nice goes horribly wrong.
