The New Vic Theatre and KMF today celebrated the success of their partnership on The Snow Queen as the award-winning company met the cast of the Christmas production on-stage at the theatre-in-the-round.
KMF are the market leader in the supply of precision sheet metal solutions. Formed in 1971, the company is still under the management of founding directors and employs more than 400 people in Stoke-on-Trent.
It has grown into one of the UK’s largest and most successful sheet metal manufacturing plants. Committed to quality, investment and innovation KMF provides contract manufacturing solutions to a diverse range of industry sectors.
Adapted and directed by New Vic Theatre Artistic Director, Theresa Heskins, The Snow Queen continues a series of successful adaptations of children’s literature at the theatre.
With enchanting characters, ingenious staging and breath-taking on-stage magic, the production runs at the New Vic until Saturday 28 January.
Fiona Wallace, New Vic Executive Director, said: “We are proud to partner with KMF in this sponsorship. It’s a great opportunity to showcase the benefits of arts sponsorship and the direct results it can generate for business.
“It also offers a fantastic opportunity to be able to work with a local business doing great work with young people – an ethos we share. More than 40,000 people saw our last Christmas show, including more than 20,000 children and young people, and The Snow Queen is set to be seen by even more.”
Nadine Rowley, KMF Marketing & PR Executive: “The New Vic Theatre is a successful producing theatre based in Stoke-on-Trent and KMF are proud to sponsor their festive show of The Snow Queen. Similarly, to KMF with their Young Engineer Scheme, the New Vic works hard to encourage children into non-traditional subjects, such as the arts. This sponsorship is a great opportunity for KMF to work with a visionary organisation which supports local culture. The Snow Queen is an exceptional show for all of the family.”
