Froncysyllte Male Voice Choir 70th Anniversary Concert

Saturday 22 July 2017

With soloist Caitlin Drake

They’ve appeared at the New Vic every Christmas for more than 30 years – a remarkable tradition that means as much to the Choir as it does to us. Formed in 1947 to compete at the 1947 Llangollen Eisteddfod, 2017 sees them celebrating their 70th anniversary. There is no better way to celebrate than being amongst friends, so for this special year they are appearing at the New Vic this summer as well as their annual Christmas visit.

One of the world’s most popular male voice choirs, the Fron’s albums are now sold in more than 80 countries and their tracks appear on over 90 compilation CDs. They have sold more than a million records in the UK alone. On the road, the Fron has built a reputation as an unforgettable live choir.

For this concert, the Fron team up with Welsh soloist, Caitlin Drake, who has just completed her first year at the prestigious Italia Conti Drama School in London.

Tickets are always in high demand so please book in good time.

Early Bird Ticket Offer: Book before 26 May and get £2 off advertised prices.
