Love Hurts?

Friday 18 March–Saturday 19 March 2022

New Vic Borderlines

Written and directed by Susan Moffat

Love Hurts? is a powerful drama created through working with young people who have experienced harmful and damaging relationships. It sensitively and appropriately explores the nature of teenage relationships, the power dynamics which exist in all relationships, and challenges a culture where ‘love’ may be expressed through manipulation, exploitation and abuse.

‘In the background you could hear school bells and you could see text messages on the phone to her friends and we can sort of relate to it ‘cause we are in the same position.’ (young person’s response to Love Hurts?)

Love Hurts? will be on a Community Tour from 18th March 2022. School and Colleges, Youth and Community groups can book workshops and performances of Love Hurts?
