This is Sophie Smith’s first appearance at the New Vic.

Theatre credits include: Evita (Endellion Theatre Company); International Gilbert and Sullivan Festival (Harrogate);Jekyll and Hyde (Burnley Mechanics); Man of La Mancha (Endellion Theatre Company); Dr Ferret’s Bad Medicine Roadshow (Tétè à Tétè Festival, Buxton Fringe Festival, Middleton Hall); Hot House (Royal Opera House); Oliver! (Endellion Theatre Company); Patience (Buxton Opera House).

Orchestral, ensemble and recording credits include: National Festival Orchestra; Brighouse and Rastrick Band; Christmas Carols on ITV 1(2017); Skaparis Collective; Opera North Youth Company; Polyphonic with Royal Northern College of Music Wind Orchestra (2015 and 2016); All Girls BBC Radio 3 Ultimate Music Battle with BBC Philharmonic and Hallé Orchestra (2013).

Sophie Smith studied the prestigious GRNCM Joint Course at the Royal Northern College of Music (RNCM) and The University of Manchester, before completing the MMus at RNCM.
