Olivia du Monceau
Olivia du Monceau lives and works as a set and costume designer in the UK. Her career has developed through a variety of artistic disciplines; including theatre, exhibitions and art installations.
Recent prominent theatre collaborations have been with Liverpool Everyman & Playhouse, HOME Mcr, Nottingham Playhouse, Liverpool Royal Court, Southwark Playhouse, dreamthinkspeak, Homotopia. She recently designed on a number of opening Ceremonies at the M&S Bank Arena.
As an academic her education work has been collaborating with Manchester Metropolitan School of Theatre for ten years, she has also produced work for the Platform Theatre at University Arts London and supervised in various forms for Liverpool Institute For Performing Arts also over a ten years span.
In 2012 she was nominated for an Off the West End Award for theatre design and in 2013 she was selected to represent the UK as part of the World Stage Design exhibits.
Her current and upcoming work include designing the exhibition Strike at The Imperial Typewriters in Leicester, the Liverpool Everyman & Playhouse show Miracle on 34th Street and Liverpool Royal Court Christmas Show.
