Update 08/07/2020

An update for audiences

In these exceptional circumstances, we want to thank all of our audiences for the support you have shown us as we navigate our way through the current situation. As we reschedule our programme of events, we’ve been overwhelmed by your generosity.

Many of you have donated the cost of your tickets to the theatre’s fundraising campaign. This type of support is vital for the success of the New Vic, and we want to say thank you.

Our Box Office team are working hard to contact all customers who had tickets booked for performances up until the end of June.

If you had booked for any of the productions in our spring and summer season, you do not need to call us. One of our team will be in touch with you as soon as possible to discuss your options – you could help support us by donating the cost of your ticket to our fundraising campaign; we can offer a credit note to the rescheduled performance date or another performance of your choice in the future, or, if you’d prefer a refund, just let us know when we contact you.

We are working hard to reschedule productions that we due to be in our season, up until the end of June.

The Company of Wolves

The Company of Wolves, originally due to take place between Wednesday 21 May – Saturday 13 June this year, involved a number of international artists who were due to perform, and a number of creative team members who regularly work internationally. Due to the restrictions placed on international travel and the current advice regarding public events, to ensure the safety of audiences and of the company involved in creating the piece, the theatre will now stage this ambitious production in 2021.

One-night Events

We are working hard with the touring companies to reschedule visits from performers in the theatre’s one-night concert programme up to the end of June, to future dates

Opening Times

At the New Vic, we are continuing to follow the Government advice in relation to the coronavirus outbreak.

Our Box Office are working hard to contact customers who have tickets booked for all performances that have been postponed and we remain open for bookings over the phone at the following times:

Monday – Friday: 10.00am – 4.00pm

Customers can also still book online, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, at newvictheatre.org.uk

We hope you’re all keeping safe and well at this time and can’t wait to welcome you back through our doors once we are able to.

If you would like to make a booking for future performances beyond June, find out what’s coming up and book tickets here

If you haven’t made a booking, but would like to show support for the New Vic at this time, you can find ways to make a donation and support us here
