Richard played Ronnie Angel in the original 1989 production of Good Golly Miss Molly reprising the role in 1991 and 1993. He also played Ronnie in productions at the Belgrade Theatre, Coventry, in 1996, and at Oldham Coliseum, and Haymarket Theatre, Basingstoke, in 2004.
