“A fairy-tale family Christmas”

The Snow Queen

Saturday 19 November–Saturday 28 January 2017

a New Vic Theatre production

by Hans Christian Andersen
adapted and directed by Theresa Heskins

The classic children’s tale of adventure, friendship and bravery, brought to the stage by the brilliant creative team behind legendary New Vic Christmas shows such as The Borrowers and The Hundred and One Dalmatians. With enchanting characters, original music and filled with breathtaking 0n-stage magic, The Snow Queen is directed by Theresa Heskins in her stunning trademark style.

When Kai meets the Snow Queen, she persuades him to leave his home, his grandmother and his best friend, Gerda, to live with her in far away Lapland. So Gerda sets off all alone, determined to find him – even if she has to search the whole wide world.

“Our ages ranged from 76 to just two years of age – and even she was mesmerised!”
The Tarrant family on The Hundred and One Dalmatians

Family-of-Four ticket just £66.00!
(November performances just £56.00)
