A ’60S SUMMER BECKONS AS HI-DE-HI ERIC COMES TO TOWN!

14th July 2025

The New Vic welcomes David Graham Productions back this August, as the company’s legendary character ‘Eric’ returns for a riotous holiday camp adventure, Hi-De-Hi Eric. On stage from Saturday 23 August to Friday 5 September, the show will feature laugh-out-loud humour alongside sensational ’60s tunes.

Eric’s partner Bev wants to go on an expensive foreign holiday. His compromise is a seaside break in the UK, at a holiday camp, where he’s got them both a job for the season… As an added complication, the holiday camp is in danger of being closed down due to a lack of customers. Can Eric save the day?

The character of ‘Eric’ is a much-loved figure at the New Vic, renowned for his comedic escapades and foot-tapping musical shows. Hi-De-Hi Eric promises to be a fun-filled slice of fabulous foolishness, set to a superb live soundtrack featuring plenty of audience favourites from the ’60s, lots of brilliant comedy, and some larger than life characters. This holiday hoot is the perfect way to round off the summer season at the New Vic.

Tickets are on sale from the New Vic now, priced from £22.00. Hi-de-Hi Eric takes to the stage at the New Vic from Saturday 23 August to Friday 5 September. For more information and to book, visit newvictheatre.org.uk or call the Box Office on 01782 717962 or
