Two talented TV names, Shaparak Khorsandi and Rosie Jones, are heading to the New Vic this autumn with their hilarious new stand-up comedy shows.
One of Britain’s most beloved comedians, Shaparak Khorsandi brings her new show Scatterbrain to the New Vic on Wednesday 17 September. Among other things, this show is a love-letter to letter-writing, a trip back through her early years as a comic and woman-about-town, and a whirlwind tour of a hilarious, sometimes frantic brain. Having reassessed her life through the prism of an ADHD diagnosis in last year’s funny and moving memoir, in this show of the same name, Shaparak uses her newly liberated mind as a springboard for a comedic rollercoaster ride in a night of memorable entertainment.
BAFTA-nominated powerhouse Rosie Jones brings her hilarious show I Can’t Tell What She’s Saying to the stage on Wednesday 29 October. Unashamedly and openly discussing some of the biggest topics in life: being single, the pressures of representing huge sections of the population, and the importance of gravy, Rosie returns with her loveable blend of cheek and charm in this brand-new stand-up show following a nomination for Most Outstanding Show at Melbourne International Comedy Festival 2023.
