15th October 2025

This half-term, the New Vic Borderlines team are hosting an interactive workshop – Yes Let’s – that allows families with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) to explore their creativity, develop social skills and build confidence in a free, accessible and safe environment.

Taking place at the New Vic from Monday 27 to Thursday 30 October, the free workshops invite young people aged 5 to 18 years and their families to participate in a unique den-making workshop that encourages creative thinking and sensory engagement.

Drawing on a Halloween theme this October half-term, participant are invited to use fabrics, textures and soundscapes to create and decorate haunted house dens as well as enjoy interactive games and theatre activities that are designed to enhance communication and encourage self-expression.

Funded by Stoke-on-Trent City Council’s Aiming High programme, the Yes Let’s sessions provide lots of fun for participants, as well as a short break from a daily routine for the entire family.
