Around The World in 80 Days

Sat 23 May–Sat 20 Jun

New Vic Production

By Laura Eason
Adapted from the novel by Jules Verne
Directed by Theresa Heskins

One of the New Vic’s biggest and best-loved hits returns – just in time for our 40th anniversary year.

Mysterious, fabulously wealthy and just a little bit eccentric, Phileas Fogg makes a bet that he can circumnavigate the globe in just 80 days. As he sets out on his quest alongside his trusty valet Passepartout, his journey takes him through the misty alleys of Victorian London, across the subcontinent and through the Wild West, travelling by any means necessary.

Join us as eight actors take on 109 characters, six trains, five boats, two dances, one storm, a circus act and an elephant.

First seen here at the New Vic, this celebrated production has played to audiences half-way around the world, including a run on Broadway, New York. Now, complete with original cast members Andrew Pollard, Michael Hugo, Dennis Herdman and Pushpinder Chani, this joy-filled show is back – and you won’t want to miss it!
