Looking for Me Friend: The Music of Victoria Wood

Wed 18 Feb

2026 marks 10 years since the death of the late, great Victoria Wood. So be amongst friends at The most feel-good show in town (Daily Mail) and join Paulus The Cabaret Geek (BBC1’s All Together Now) with Michael Roulston (Fascinating Aïda) on piano to celebrate her life.

Directed by the multi-award-winning Sarah-Louise Young (An Evening Without Kate Bush), Looking For Me Friend is filled with Victoria’s best-loved songs, including the iconic Ballad of Barry & Freda (Let’s Do It) and the classic It Would Never Have Worked. It has been welcomed by many of Victoria’s very own school-chums, family and colleagues.

She’s not just being remembered, she’s being relived (One4review)

Looking For Me Friend is for fans of Victoria and for those yet to discover her, to come together and relish her breath-taking wizardry with words. In telling Victoria’s story, Paulus unfolds his own. A relatable story of a 1970s childhood and what it really means to find your tribe.
