New Vic – Updates to Programme of Events and Building Opening Times

In these exceptional circumstances, we want to thank all of our audiences for the support you have shown us over the last few days. As we reschedule our programme of events, we’ve been overwhelmed by your generosity.

Many of you have donated the cost of your tickets to the theatre’s fundraising campaign. This type of support is vital for the success of the New Vic, and we want to say thank you.

Please note: If you have tickets booked for any event prior to the 28 April, you do not need to call us. Our Box Office team are in the process of contacting all customers who have booked for performances in this period to discuss your options – – you could help us by donating the cost of your ticket to our fundraising campaign, we can offer a credit note to the rescheduled performance date, or another performance of your choice, or, if you’d prefer a refund, just let us know when we call you.

We have taken a decision to reschedule the following events, up until the 28 April:

The 39 Steps

Performances of The 39 Steps will not go ahead as planned. We are planning to reschedule these performances to a future date.

Eric’s Full Monty

David Graham Productions’ Eric’s Full Monty, has been rescheduled to take place from Tuesday 26 May – Saturday 6 June.

The Company of Wolves

The Company of Wolves, originally due to take place between Wednesday 21 May – Saturday 13 June this year, involved a number of international artists who were due to perform, and a number of creative team members who regularly work internationally. Due to the restrictions placed on international travel and the current advice regarding public events, to ensure the safety of audiences and of the company involved in creating the piece, the theatre will now stage this ambitious production in 2021.

One-night Events

The theatre’s one-night concert programme up to the end of April has been rescheduled for later dates.

Opening Times

Following consideration, we have taken the decision that from Saturday 21 March, the New Vic will be closed to the public.

Our Box Office will remain open for bookings over the phone at the following times:

Monday – Friday: 10.00am – 6.00pm

Saturdays: 10.00am – 2.00pm

Customers can also still book online, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, at newvictheatre.org.uk

We hope you’re all keeping safe and well at this time and can’t wait to welcome you back through our doors once we are able to.

If you would like to make a booking for future performances beyond 28 April, find out what’s coming up and book tickets here

If you haven’t made a booking, but would like to show support for the New Vic at this time, you can find ways to make a donation and support us here
